Cookie Policy
Notice version v1.0-2026-10-17. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. "Similar technologies" includes local storage, pixels and server-to-server events. We only use technologies that fall in the categories below, and nothing outside the "strictly necessary" category runs before you have given consent.
2. Strictly necessary (no consent required)
- Consent preferences: your cookie choice (a random consent ID, your selections and the timestamp) is stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it and respects it on every visit. This storage is what makes your choice effective, so it cannot be switched off.
- Service delivery and security: our hosting platform may use technically necessary cookies or equivalent techniques to serve the site securely. [TO CONFIRM before publication: the exact cookies, their names and durations, with the hosting provider.]
3. Analytics (only with your consent)
[TO CONFIRM: no analytics tool is configured today. If one is added, it will load only after you allow analytics, and it will be documented here, including provider, cookie names and lifetime.]
4. Advertising (only with your consent)
- Meta Pixel (browser-side): if you accept advertising, Meta may set cookies such as _fbp and receives page-view and lead events, so we can measure and improve our Instagram and Facebook campaigns.
- Meta Conversions API (server-side): with the same consent, our server sends the same events directly to Meta, using irreversibly hashed email addresses. Server events carry the same event ID as the browser events so Meta deduplicates them, and your choice is respected on both sides.
- No advertising technology runs before you press "Accept all" or switch advertising on under "Cookie settings".
5. Managing your choices
Use "Cookie Settings" in the footer of every page to review your selection, change it, or withdraw it entirely. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser; the site will simply ask you again on your next visit. Refusing optional cookies never limits access to the site or its content.
6. Consent records
When you make a choice, we log it (consent ID, choices, timestamp, page URL and notice version) so that we can demonstrate which consent applies. [TO CONFIRM: how long consent logs are retained.]
Before publication — information Jovy must still supply
- The hosting provider's technically necessary cookies, names and durations.
- Confirmation of the Meta Pixel dataset ID (the pixel activates only once it is added in the app's secret settings).
- Analytics provider, if one is adopted, plus its cookie details.
- Retention period for consent logs.
